CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE Automation - Macroprogramming (English Language)

Participants will learn to create robust, parametric macros in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE to efficiently automate engineering and design workflows.

• Fundamentals of the 3DEXPERIENCE scripting architecture
• Differentiation between CATScript, VBScript, VBA, and CAA, and differences compared to CATIA V5
• Fundamentals of programming in BASIC
• Introduction to object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Creating user interfaces with Windows Forms
• Debugging (error detection and troubleshooting)
• Accessing CATIA elements and objects
• Interaction with COM applications
• Creating internal CATIA macros (in-process)
• Creating external programs (out-process)
• Practical example provided by TECHNIA or customized to customer requirements
• Tips & tricks

Basic CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE knowledge. Training is recommended to be carried out on customer systems.

4 days

• The training will be held with TECHNIA Training Cloud, via remote access, no installation or licensing on attendee device needed.
• Training materials per attendee delivered for 90 days through access to Dassault Systèmes Eduspace.
