This course will teach you how to start a complex design project from its specifications (top down approach) and complete it by reusing existing data. It will focus on advanced skills and concepts that enable you to create and analyze complex parts and assemblies

• Use 3D reference elements to create a part
• Create advanced sketch-based features
• Apply advanced dress-up features
• Modelling using Boolean operations
• Share designs by working in multi-model environment
• Analyse parts
• Annotate parts for review
• Create and reuse advanced replication tools like power copies
• Store components and power copies into catalog and reuse them in a new context
• Modify CATIA options in order to optimize performance for large, complex designs
• Manage contextual links between products documents by using publications
• Create and use parameters to drive a product design
• Create sections to visualize internal product structure
• Create scenes and exploded views
• Generate annotations and bills of material for assembly drawings

CATIA V5 Fundamentals

• The training will be held with TECHNIA Training Cloud, via remote access, no installation or licensing on attendee device needed.
• Training materials per attendee delivered for 90 days through access to Dassault Systèmes Eduspace.
